We all know that we need to keep our oceans clean, however, when you are in the ocean every day like us, you really see the importance of this. Surf Canaries has been cleaning beaches since it started 15 years ago and every year we have a bookmark event: Our Arguineguin Beach Clean and Ocean Festival, to which you are all invited!

After a 2 year wait due to Covid, we are proud to announce our 11TH EDITION OF THE ANNUAL BEACH CLEAN AND SURF FESTIVAL IN ARGUINEGUIN!

Surf Canaries is once again co-hosting the Arguineguín Beach Clean with Tipsy Hammock and Oceans for Life, in collaboration with the Surfrider Foundation, Initiativas Oceanas, Mogan and San Bartolome de Tirajana town councils, and various local businesses.

Apart from our amazing collaborators and volunteers, this event wouldn’t be possible without the important support of the Ayuntamientos de Mogan y de San Bartlome de Tirajana who have really helped us to develop this event over the last 12 years.

This event helps to increase ecological consciousness as well as promoting a companionship between local neighbours and volunteers from all over the island and Europe who all come together to clear plastic that is more and more prevalent in our oceans.

Come and join us for this awesome beach clean and well deserved BBQ afterwards… this year is going to be even bigger and better!
